Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool Job Duration: 8 months Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid RN license or Compact RN license Certifications: BLS-AHA, NRP Must-Have: Ability to work in Level III NICU and care for NICU stepdown babies Job Description: - Float between different units as required. - No on-call duties are required. - Every other weekend is required to be worked. - Block schedules are not a requirement. - Expected patient ratios are 1:3, 1:2, or 1:1. - The shift schedule cannot exceed 48 hours weekly. - Ability to transition within the facility to meet varied staffing needs. - Complete modules averaging 16 hours pre-start and annually. - Undertake a non-billable orientation period of 40 hours. - Submissions should include interview availability with time zones clearly specified. - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting that a candidate wishes to work in.
